SUMMARY:Fall Fling '23 FUNDRAISER
DESCRIPTION:WE DID IT!!! We successfully raised $20\,000 and had an incredible evening of laughter\, dancing\, and connecting!!!\nFundraising Goal\nOur 1st goal is to raise $20\,000 in net proceeds to give to the two local elementary schools: Turner Valley School and C. Ian McLaren. \nThis goal will help us fulfill the vision of creating small schools with big hearts and aspirations. Both schools are committed to Learning for Transfer where the students engage in projects that exhibit student agency\, promote community involvement\, and leave a positive footprint on our ecosystem. To date\, they have built a greenhouse\, bat boxes\, and enhancements to the outdoor learning area. In addition\, your financial support means bringing in resident artists\, theatre productions\, scientists\, engineers and other experts to enrich the curriculum; as well as funding field trips and transportation and updating technology for the classes. \nBringing the community together for a fun night out filled with delicious food\, music and dancing\, silent auction\, and spirits from our local Brewery’s and Distillery. \nFeaturing Special Guests\, Local Foothills Band HAGGIS! \nA tasty ‘pubadelic’ band. Your iPod on shuffle… Haggis brings the party to the party! \n  \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:The Diamond Valley Youth Foundation is EXTREMELY GRATEFUL to Fraction Energy for selecting our society as a community partner for their upcoming event. \nAnd what an event it is sure to be!! \nIt begins with participants either joining a Golf Tournament at the Turner Valley Golf Club or going horseback riding at Anchor D Guiding and Outfitting. \nEveryone will gather in the evening at W4 Ranch for dinner and a concert by Kyle McKearney. \nUnfortunately this event is not open to the public – if you are interested in participating\, please reach out to info@dvyf.ca and we can put you in touch with Fraction Energy.
